Merging duplicate leads

A lead may be created many times from various activities or events or by multiple operators. Duplicate details of a lead would cause confusion or waste your time reaching the same person by means of repetitively contact through different sales representatives or different approaches.
The LogixCRM helps you to merge duplicate details of a lead into one record for easy and effort-saving management. Follow the steps below.
1. Click Leads on the top menu.
2. Search a lead and click its name to open its details.
3. Click Convert.
4. Select required data of the lead and click Search.
5. Check out the search results and select the duplicate leads. Up to 4 rows of the leads can be selected for merge.
6. Click Merge Leads on the mid-right.
7. The following screen appears. The items that come with identical data across the duplicate leads will all be selected automatically. The items that are different across the duplicate details are not selected, and you will need to check them individually and tick the correct information.
You can also select a duplicate lead as the master record (see the second row of the screen above) and all particulars below will be selected automatically.
8. Click Merge and the duplicate details will be merged into one record for the lead.
