Creating and assigning tasks
Tasks facilitate you to trace activities and status logs of leads / accounts / opportunities whenever sales representatives contact leads, leads are turned into accounts, the owner is assigned to collect more of client details, and the like.
Follow the steps below to create tasks for your users.
1. You can create tasks under either a lead, an account, or an opportunity page. Click Leads / Accounts / Opportunities on the top and click a client’s name to bring up details.
2. Go to the Open Task section and click New Task.

3. The following screenshot comes up.

• Assign To
Assign the new task to one of your users. Click the down arrow to expand the drop-down list and choose one user.
• Subject
Enter a subject directly or click the list icon
on the right to select a subject.
• Due Date
Click the selection bar to bring up the calendar and pick a date as the due day for this new task. Manually entering a designated date is allowable, and the date format is DD-MM-YYYY.
• Status
Appoint a status of the new task from the options below to describe how the task is dealt with. ⦾ Not Started ⦾ In Progress ⦾ Completed ⦾ No Answer ⦾ Left Message ⦾ Wrong Number ⦾ Not Interested
• Priority
Specify the urgency of the task as high, normal, or low.
• Related To
This would be configured by default to the lead / account / opportunity you select.
• Comments
Optionally enter your comments regarding the task.
4. After finishing configuration, click Save. If you need to create another task, click Save and Add New.
5. Go back to the lead, account, or opportunity page, the created task shows in the Open Task section. You can click the pen icon
to revise the details or click the rubbish bin icon
to delete it.

As the designated user implements and completes the tasks, they will be automatically segregated from the Open Task section and collected to the Task History.
