Importing leads

Trustful operators would be necessary for you to manage leads / accounts / opportunities before you allow your sales representatives and marketing specialists to access clients’ data. This helps you prevent data breach and protect your clients.
Importing leads from files is efficient to pour all client data into your LogixCRM.
1. Go to Setup > Settings > Import. The Select Object is leads by default.
2. Click Download Template in the top right corner.
3. There are a few basic data fields included in the Selected Fields. Click a data field to select it and click the left or right arrow to resume the unwanted data fields to the Available Fields or move the available data fields to the Selected Fields.
4. The exported template file is named Import_Template.csv. Open the file, fill out the form with your leads’ data, and save.
5. Then click Select to select the CSV file and click Import to import it to the LogixCRM.
This field is set as an “email” data type and considered mandatory.
The input value must contain a username, an @ symbol, and a domain name (e.g. [email protected]).
Valid characters include numbers (0-9), uppercase letters (A-Z), lowercase letters (a-z), plus (+), hyphen (-), underscore (_), and tilde (~).

Then click Download to export these field labels as a template for leads’ data.
Note: If you include the data field “owner”, it will be displayed as the column “ownership_id” in the template. The ownership ID is the ID of the account manager (owner) / user. (Click to enlarge it.)
Go to Setup > Company Info > Users, search a desired user and click the pen icon , the user’s ID is shown in the hyperlink. Take the user Yana Tyler as an example. Her user ID is 274. (Click to enlarge it.)
If you select and include any of the following fields in the exported template file named Import_Template.csv, ensure that you comply with the requirements below to configure the fields accordingly beforehand and fill in the data in the template file as requested. Refer to for configuration.
