For archival, reporting, or marketing purposes, you can export all your leads or filter client data to CSV files by tags to create a more specific export list.
1. Go to Setup > Settings > Export.
2. Define the exporting object and configure the filtering fields and values.
• Select Object
Select the target types of your clients from leads, accounts, and opportunities. The selection is leads by default.
• Filtered By
Click New Filter to add and designate one or more specific filtering condition from the field labels you have created for your leads / accounts / opportunities. Then specify the condition logic for filtering criteria. For example, if you add only two data fields, you can write “1 or 2” to filter either by the first field or the second one. Otherwise, you can write “1 and 2” to the filter the data that meet both data fields.
• Select Field
Select or search the data fields for data display in the exported CSV file. Select one or more data fields in the Available Field section and click the right arrow to move them to the Selected Fields section, or click the left arrow to reinstate fields in the available section. To arrange the data in a custom sequence for the exported file, click and hold a data field to move it up or down in the Selected Fields section.
3. Click Start Exporting to continue. As the export is successfully implemented, a status message will slide in from the top right corner. Then you can click Download to get the CSV file.
All the export records will appear in the Export History. You can tell the client types from the color tags in the Status column – green for leads, blue for accounts, purple for opportunities. For the unsuccessful exports, the status will show Failed.
Click a pin icon to keep the record always-on-top. You can also click the duplicate icon to clone the filtering criteria and data fields as a reference to create another export file.
